Who signed the constitution of the united states of america?
Only 39 of the 70 individuals chosen to attend the meetings signed the Constitution. William Jackson, the secretary of the convention, but not a delegate, signed the Constitution. John Delaware was absent but had another delegate sign for him. Rhode Island opted to not send any delegates.
